When building inspector Stephen Wright told master
builder Brett Foy what he wanted in his new house,
Mr Foy told him to come and have a look at his own.
Mr Wright was so impressed with the 12 month old
Foybuild home that he bought it.
A year later and with the inner renovator beckoning,
Mr Wright said it was time to move on.
But on e thing was certain about the Morley Circuit
address- there was absolutely nothing that needed
to be done.
The expansive white home has quality inclusions throughout.
The floors in the main bedroom and dining room, both
at the front of the house, are Tasmanian oak.
All five bedrooms have built-in robes plus satellite
and internet connections, and there is a double walk-through
robe and ensuite off the main.
A guest bedroom adjacent to the main upstairs living
area has its own ensuite and looks over a 2.5 metre-wide
balcony that runs along the rear of the house.
There is also access to the balcony from the living
area, which itself covers 80 square metres of the
upper level.
The extensive use of large porcelain tiles throughout
adds to the sense of space.
This is also true of the kitchen area, which features
Caesar Stone benchtops and European appliances.
Downstairs, the rumpus has its own wet bar with solid
timber benchtop and feature wall.
Three of the five bedrooms are located off this area,
as is another bathroom.
But summer is when the downstairs area would come
into its own. The rumpus leads through large glass
doors to an in-ground pool with water feature and
adjacent tiled area.
Mr Wright said the pool sheltered backyard trapped
considerable sunlight.
